Everton star Tim Cahill admits his goal celebration was inspired by Australia teammate Archie Thompson. He said: "It started when Archie did something similar when his son, Axel, was born. I had a boy as well and we incorporated it as a celebration for our kids. It's a bit of fun between us and now it's become a trademark in Australia.
"We based it on the Nintendo Wii boxing game and there are little kids everywhere doing it. Archie had a kung-fu celebration and I just spiced it up a little bit.
"You can't take your shirt off now but you're so passionate, you need to celebrate and relate to the fans.
"It would be nice to be doing it more than once on Saturday and beating Liverpool would be the ideal lift.
"That's the beauty of this game - the seriousness of it goes beyond football, it goes into peoples' lives.
"I lived in Liverpool for four years so I understand what it's like to walk down the street to get a carton of milk after a derby."
