Everton ace Tim Cahill admits he's desperate to start scoring again ahead of their clash with Tottenham. "It [the corner flag] will take more than a pounding if I score at Tottenham," Australia international Cahill told evertonTV. "There's so much going through my mind at the minute. I'm not far off 100 [career] goals and I feel now is the time to start opening up the floodgates and trying to get a bit of rhythm.
"I've only been back for 10 games or so, so I'm still finding my feet. I'm really happy to be in the side and playing but I go back to Fulham where I just missed a header when I was, perhaps, trying too hard to score. Then at Middlesbrough the ball dipped and missed by two yards and you think about these chances.
"Then I look at the Wigan game and I'm so disappointed because a goal like that could have changed the whole complex of the way the team feels and how I feel as an individual.
"It's not that I'm going through a barren spell - I just set standards. When you come back you want to be at a high peak and you want to stay there. It's the best way to be because people look up to you. Five thousand people came to watch the game - I can't help but think about them and their thoughts."
