Everton midfielder Mikel Arteta is ready for his Spanish showdown tomorrow against Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas.

"It is always hard to beat them and this year it is probably harder than it has ever been," said Arteta. "But we are confident and they will be worried about us, too.

"They have got some amazing players, though. I know Cesc really well. He has improved his game again. You only have to look at how young he is and see the responsibility that he has got to realise he is probably Arsenal's main man.

"You know when you move up a level like that, you know he can handle the pressure. He is a terrific player. He is a nice lad but if you tackle him he can react. But if we allow him to control the game, he will make things really difficult for us."
