Everton youngster Gueye determined to make most of first team opening

Everton youngster Magaye Gueye is determined to make the most of his late season first team chance.

The French striker made his full debut in victory at Wolves last weekend.

"David Moyes is a very good manager, he talks to me sometimes and says that he trusts me and he is confident in me," he told evertonfc.com.

"He says I am one for the future, he wants me to learn and watch the other players.

"We are without some very important players because of injury, we don't have Mikel Arteta, Tim Cahill, Louis Saha and Marouane Felliani," added the French Under-21 international.

"I would rather these players were not injured because if Mikel wasn't injured I could learn a lot, but it's good to have the chance to play."
