Everton wing-back Seamus Coleman was disappointed with last season's campaign.

The 2010/11 Everton Young Player of the Season felt he dropped below his own high standards last term and he has returned to training with extra motivation.

He told evertontv: "Last year didn't go to plan for me for a few reasons but this year, fingers crossed, I can stay fit have a good season.

"I'm starting to feel fit again. Hopefully I can get a full pre-season under my belt and kick on this year."
