Hull City boss Nigel Pearson has swooped for Everton youngster Hope Akpan on a loan arrangement until the end of the season. The 19-year-old midfielder has now finalised his move to the KC Stadium.
"We know a lot about him already," Pearson told the Hull Daily Mail.
"We do our homework on players and we're going to have a look at him between now and the end of the season.
"We have an agreement with Everton as regards his future and, if he does well, we'll see where it takes us.
"We're pleased to get him on board but don't expect him to be involved with the first team straight away."
