Everton boss David Moyes plans to secure Greek defender Kostas Manolas on a Bosman.

The People says Moyes is poised to grab Manolas, 20, with a pre-contract offer.

Manolas was close to a move to Goodison last week - but AEK Athens wanted £800,000 for the young centre-half.

However, Moyes then spent all of his available funds on Nikica Jelavic.
