As well as improving the Chang Everton Academy, the Premiership club also has close links with the Bangkok Metropolitan Academy.
"They've had a wonderful experience because on Sunday they came to Finch Farm and we coached them here.
"They also formed the Guard of Honour of the first team's last game of the season against Newcastle. And one boy we selected to be the mascot for today and obviously the result was terrific so they now see their role as being a lucky mascot for us!"
The boys from Thailand spent five days in Liverpool and Ray thinks that many more visits should follow - especially with the number of benefits coming out of the visit for both parties.
He continued: "It was good for them but it was also good for our boys.
"We look forward to more invites in the future because I think that as part of the Chang partnership there will be occasions when coaches will go out from our club and as much as anything it's coach education, so we're coaching their coaches on how to deliver the Evertonway.
"Who knows as the relationship becomes stronger and more wide-spread, we might end up with some talented Thai boys."
