Everton wing-back Seamus Coleman admits he enjoyed testing himself against Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo in today's defeat in LA.

Coleman found himself head-to-head with the Real Madrid superstar during the 2-1 friendly defeat to the Spanish side.

He told evertontv: "It was great experience. As a player you want to play against the best in the world and Real Madrid are certainly that. In the second half we did really well.

"You want to test yourself and I really enjoyed it when I saw his name on the teamsheet."
