Everton have reportedly won the race to sign Moussa Sissoko from Newcastle United.

It is being reported that the French midfielder is on his way to Finch Farm for a medical after the Toffees agree a fee with the Magpies.

Tottenham Hotspur were showing significant interest and had held talks with the Toon but had baulked at the £30million asking price.

It appears as though Everton are willing to pay that money for the 27-year-old France international.
