Everton are ready to make a huge offer to Swansea City attacker Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The Mirror says Sigurdsson is on course to double his wages and gain parity with Wayne Rooney at Everton.
Rooney, 31, completed a switch back to Goodison Park earlier this month from Manchester United on a £150,000-a-week deal.
Now big-spending Everton boss Ronald Koeman is set to increase his bid for Swansea talisman Sigurdsson.
Everton have since seen a £40 million bid rejected by the Welsh club who are demanding £50m.
But the deal is still expected to go through and Sigurdsson is in line for a huge increase on his £80,000-a-week at the Swans.
