Everton boss David Moyes is willing to pay £6 million to sign Cardiff City winger Joe Ledley.
The Mirror says Moyes has made contact with the Bluebirds since the crushing setback of missing out on the promotion play-offs and he is keen to do business as soon as possible.
Ledley will be sold by Cardiff at the right price and the Goodison chief is willing to outbid rivals Stoke City in the race for the midfield dynamo's signature - with Wigan now dropping out of the race since missing out in the last window.
Cardiff would like to take a player or two from Everton on a season-long loan and will be asking for that to be included in any deal. Striker Victor Anichebe is the first-choice to be makeweight.
