Everton are willing to match Chelsea's asking price for Romelu Lukaku.
The Mail on Sunday says Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has had issues with Lukaku ever since he was farmed out last summer and wants him out of Stamford Bridge.
It seems Everton have stumped up the fee - not yet disclosed but would be in excess of £15m - and sufficient wages.
Tottenham were also keen, but refuse to compete with Everton in an auction for the Belgian.
