Rennes striker Asamoah Gyan is ready to move to England after the World Cup.

The Ghana star has been linked with several Premiership clubs, including Everton, Blackburn Rovers and West Ham United.

"It is my desire to play in England," he said. "I did so well with my club this season that I came to the World Cup full of confidence.

"I now want to show my ability in England."
