Everton, West Ham, Blackburn push for Kightly confirmed

Grays Athletic owner-manager Mick Woodward has revealed that Everton, West Ham and Blackburn Rovers are all chasing Wolves winger Michael Kightly.

"I think you'll see Michael Kightly move very shortly," he told The Non-League Paper.

"I know Everton, West Ham and Blackburn have come in for him and a club has put a £4 million bid in already.

"People will see who they can get rid of first. West Ham are going to have a good clear-out because they've got too many 'Big-Time Charlies' and they want players who are hungry.

"Kightly fits that bill perfectly." Grays can count on a hefty windfall courtesy of a sell-on clause in Kightly's Wolves deal.
