Tottenham are willing to sell striker Darren Bent.
The Mirror says Toffees boss David Moyes has gone in for the unsettled Tottenham forward with an offer to turn the loan deal permanent at the end of the season.
Spurs are reluctant to let £16million misfit Bent go in January unless they get a replacement. But they are ready to sell at the right price.
Moyes is desperate for a new striker as he has recently been without a single fit forward at the club.
But Everton are also very short of funds and cannot afford a full price move for Bent now and that has prompted the loan move.
