Manchester United manager David Moyes has been told not to bother with Leighton Baines.

There were reports emerging that the new United manager was set to raid his old club with a £10million bid for the England left-back but Toffees chairman Bill Kenwright has made it clear that he is a required player at Goodison Park.

"Leighton is under contract, and it is absolutely the case that we want to put something to him sooner rather than later," he said.
