Everton boss Roberto Martinez is keen to bring Spartak Moscow's Aiden McGeady to England this winter.

The Republic of Ireland winger is close to agreeing a pre-contract with the Toffees as his contract in Russia expires this coming summer.

But Martinez wants to agree a fee to bring him to Goodison Park in January if he happens to put pen to a deal with the Merseysiders.
