Everton are hoping they can land Rachid Ghezzal on a free transfer this summer.

RMC is reporting that Ronald Koeman's Toffees are eager to conclude the signing of the Olympique Lyon winger who is out of contract at the end of the season.

Everton made a decent offer for Ghezzal last summer but Lyon blocked their attempts to lure the 24-year-old to Goodison Park.

It is understood that Ghezzal's relationship with Lyon management has been deteriorating rapidly this season and he could be on the way out at season's end.
