Everton are hoping they can lure Breel Embolo from FC Basel before the transfer deadline.
Various reports suggest that the Toffees are keen to sign the 18-year-old Cameroon-born Swiss striker prior to 6pm today.
The Liverpool Echo suggests that Everton will do battle with West Ham United and German club Wolfsburg for the £14.5million-rated Embolo.
talkSPORT, however, suggests that Embolo will remain with the Swiss Super League champions.
