Manchester City have maintained their 100% record to start the 2015/16 Premier League season in perfect fashion.
Manuel Pellegrini's men produced a 2-0 result over Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday to make it three wins from three which has included eight goals scored and none conceded.
City were all attack and finally managed to break down Everton's resistance on the hour-mark when Raheem Sterling played in Aleksandar Kolarov who finished clinically inside Tim Howard's near post from a tight angle.
In the 88th minute, City substitute Samir Nasri wrapped it up when he deftly finished a sublime reverse pass from Yaya Toure to keep the 2014 champions sitting pretty at the top of the table with nine points and an unblemished record.
Everton's first loss of the campaign saw them drop to seventh.

QUOTES CORNER
Man City's Pellegrini on the current form of his team:
"This team, in the last three seasons, has been the team that always plays the best football but we made a lot of mistakes in games that seemed easy (last season).
"All of them are in a high performance. There are a lot of things that all together make us a good team at this moment."
Martinez on Everton's performance against the mighty City:
"In terms of effort and a proper face-to-face confrontation against, in my eyes, the best team in the league at this moment, we can get a lot of positives and have a real strong platform to work towards what is in front of us."
