Everton want to keep hold of Aussie attacker Tim Cahill.

The Liverpool Echo says Everton are likely to resist attempts by Saudi club Al Nassr to sign Cahill this summer - with the midfielder still considered a key part of David Moyes' plans.

Cahill has been linked with a move to the super-rich Middle East club, after reports surfaced claiming they were ready to boost their global profile by signing the Australian international.

But the 32-year-old, who made 41 appearances for the Toffees last term, is not deemed surplus to requirements by Moyes, who still rates his flexibility and goal threat as significant assets.
