Everton admit they're unaware of any injury to goalkeeper Tim Howard.

News filtered back from across the Atlantic that the United States goalkeeper dislocated his finger in Sunday's 4-2 defeat to Brazil.

But head physio Mick Rathbone admits they are still awaiting a full assessment of the problem.

"Tim has injured his finger and we don't know much about it," Rathbone told evertonTV. "Obviously with the time differences and everything we are collating all the information.

"We don't know how bad it is but we are expecting further information."
