Anton Donkor is in line to make his Everton U23 debut tonight against Manchester United.
The 19-year-old forward, signed on loan for the rest of the season from Wolfsburg last week, is expected to be in the squad that travels to Leigh Sports Village.
“Anton has come through the ranks at Wolfsburg," said coach David Unsworth to evertonfc.com. “He's a player who we have been tracking for a while. He's a left winger but can play down the right as well and through the centre. He's got great attacking qualities - good pace and is very powerful. We are delighted to have him with us.
“Potentially he could be involved on Monday. He has trained with us and he looked good - he looked strong. He tells me he played a game last week so, fitness-wise, he should be fine.
“He just needs to settle down now. He speaks great English which is a great bonus so there should be no language problem. He seems a really nice boy and I'm looking forward to working with him until the end of the season."
