Everton boss Roberto Martinez is in the hunt for a new centre-half today.
Martinez has attempted to prise Ryan Shawcross away from Stoke City with an £8 million offer this morning. But the Potters rate Shawcross closer to £12 million.
The Blues boss is now switching his sights to Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic.
The same £8 million bid is understood to have been tabled for the youngster.
Arsenal are also interested in Nastasic today.
