Everton have rejected a £3.5million offer from West Bromwich Albion for Victor Anichebe.
The Baggies are crying out for another striker with Steve Clarke reportedly lodging a bid for the 25-year old Nigerian international.
But the Toffees turned down the Albion advances with Anichebe set to remain at Goodison Park at least until January.
