Everton have handed trials to 14-year old Liberian striker Abraham Donzo.

Donzo is tied to Canada's Ottwa Fury and their technical director Colin Murdy told ontariosoccer.ca: "We have all been pleased and excited by the progress that Abraham has made over the past year.

"As a talented young player he still has aspects of the game he has to continue to develop, and the opportunity to train at the Everton academy will certainly improve his skill sets."

He continued: "Ray Hall, the Everton Academy Director, was pleased with Abraham's performance and arranged for this second opportunity for Abraham to be evaluated by the Everton staff. We are all delighted to see one of our talented young Fury players being given this chance and that Everton are keen to develop an ongoing relationship with the Fury."
