Everton to travel to Australia in July

English Premier League club Everton will travel to Australia in July for a three-match tour.

Reports suggest that the Merseyside club and the Queensland government are in discussions and are about to finalise a deal that will see the Toffees take on the Brisbane Roar in their annual Roar Against Racism charity match.

It is believed that July 10 is the date set for the match and it is also of belief that Everton will also take in matches against reigning A-League champions Sydney FC and expansion club Melbourne Heart.

Everton star Tim Cahill may or may not be involved in the tour, depending on how Australia fare at the World Cup in South Africa.
