Everton are eyeing Genoa striker Giovanni Simeone.

The Sun says they are eyeing Giovanni Simeone as a replacement for Romelu Lukaku with the Belgian forward expected to leave Goodison Park in the summer.

The Premier League's joint-top goalscorer stunned the Toffees after telling them he would not sign a new five-year contract extension.

According to TuttoMercato, Ronald Koeman is now setting his sights on Simeone who has impressed whilst leading the line for Genoa this season.

The 21-year-old forward is son of Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone and has scored 11 goals in 27 appearances for the Serie A side.
