Everton and Tottenham are monitoring Kevin Gameiro's situation at Atletico Madrid.

El Mundo Deportivo says Gameiro could leave Atletico Madrid in January.

The 30-year-old Frenchman has played just 27 minutes in La Liga this season with just two appearances – both from the bench.

Diego Costa's arrival from Chelsea will make things even more difficult for Gameiro when he is eligible to play from January 1.

Spurs made an attempt for the Frenchman last summer, while Everton are being linked with him this week in Spain.
