Everton are ready to recall Brendan Galloway from his loan at Sunderland.
The Liverpool Echo says the 21-year-old is understood to be keen on returning to Goodison after a difficult spell at the Stadium of Light.
Galloway has made just 10 appearances for Sunderland this season and just two since Chris Coleman was appointed as manager.
The Everton defender was taken to the Black Cats by Simon Grayson who was sacked with the club bottom of the Championship and replaced by ex-Wales boss Coleman.
Galloway is now hoping to bring an early end to his loan and return to Everton.
