Everton to challenge Hull for Man Utd youngster Wilson

Everton have joined the race to sign Manchester United youngster James Wilson.

With the likes of Nikica Jelavic, Dame N'Doye and Abel Hernandez all set to depart Hull City this summer, manager Steve Bruce is on the lookout for new strikers and it was recently reported that the 56-year old was eyeing a loan move for United striker Wilson.

United are said to be keen on allowing Wilson to leave on loan in order for the striker to get regular first team football and as a result, a move to Hull had been seen as a distinct possibility.

However as a blow to Hull's chances of signing Wilson, it has been reported by the Daily Star that Premier League side Everton are interested in securing the services of the 19-year old who may benefit more from top flight experience rather than getting minutes in the Championship with the Tigers.
