Everton are jumping into the battle for Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu.

Sky Sports says Everton are set to rival Arsenal in the race to sign Turkey U21 international Kokcu.

Everton sports chief Marcel Brands, who has links to Holland, is said to be interested in signing the 19-year-old midfielder.

Though, it is also stated Feyenoord are not willing to part with the promising teenager, who they hope will pen a new deal this summer.

For their part, Arsenal are planning a £25m summer bid for Kokcu.
