Everton have told Manchester City to wait over talks for Marouane Fellaini.
The Daily Mail says it is understood the Toffees are aware of City's growing interest in the Belgium international, but are unwilling to make a decision on his future until the end of the season.
City would be willing to stretch to £23million to land Fellaini, who is also a long-term target for Chelsea, in the summer and have already earmarked young striker John Guidetti as a sweetener in the deal.
