Everton players were delighted to see Louis Saha make a goal scoring return in their friendly win at Birmingham City.
The win at St Andrew's was the Frenchman's first appearance for Everton since March.
"It's always a massive plus when we can get a player like Louis back in the team and amongst the squad," Everton fullback Leighton Baines told evertonTV. "Louis is a really important player for us, he can produce goals out of no where some times and you need players like that in the side.
"It's a big plus for us to get him back and I'm sure he's feeling good about it as well.
"He's an exceptional talent and he can do pretty much everything with his pace and strength. He's good in the air and he can shoot with both feet. We know we've got one of the top strikers in the league in Louis and if we can get him playing regularly there's no doubt that he'll score goals for us."
