Everton target Ronald Raldes has opened up talks with Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv after his chance in England broke down.

The 28-year old Bolivian defender was offered a five-day trial with the Toffees but a deal was not promised and after an offer from Tel Aviv, has decided to sign as a free agent.

The Israeli outfit put a concrete offer on the table and it is believed Raldes is keen to gain regular first team football after struggling with Mexican club Cruz Azul.
