Everton youngster Tom Davies is confident that if he keeps working hard, he can reach the level of Manchester City veteran Yaya Toure.
The 18-year-old exhibited that he is on the right track to achieve that as he produced a Man of the Match scoring display against Toure when guiding the Toffees e to a 4-0 win against City at Goodison Park on Sunday.
"Coming into the game, it was a test for me to see where I was as a player, coming up against him," said Davies of Toure.
"What it has shown me is that if I keep working hard I can reach the level they are at.
"To beat Manchester City 4-0 is unbelievable, really. I would never have dreamed I would be in a game or in a team where Manchester City have been beaten 4-0.
"But we have been doing really well in the league and we are starting to find a good rhythm, picking up a few points so long may that continue."
