Everton supremo Moshiri already has replacements identified for Allardyce

Everton owner Farsad Moshiri is already preparing to replace manager Sam Allardyce.

The Daily Star says Allardyce is on borrowed time at Goodison Park with majority owner Farhad Moshiri looking for a younger, more dynamic coach to take the club forward.

Sources close to Moshiri have been pushing the claims of Shakhtar Donetsk boss Paulo Fonseca, who was first approached by Everton after they sacked Ronald Koeman in October.

But it is understood Moshiri has also discussed targeting a series of more high-profile candidates including Luis Enrique and Diego Simeone.

Both of those would be huge long shots, with Enrique favourite to take over at Chelsea and Simeone signing a contract extension with Atletico Madrid last year.
