Everton and Sunderland are chasing Bolton Wanderers winger Lee Chung-yong.
The Daily Star says despite Everton boss Roberto Martinez getting off to a great start at Goodison Park, the Spaniard will be looking to add to his squad in January to continue re-building the team he inherited from David Moyes in the summer.
Sunderland, who were interested in the player's services back in the summer window, may look towards Chung-yong as they look to bring new faces to the Stadium of Light to turn their season around; the Black Cats are currently rock bottom of the league.
Trotters boss Dougie Freedman said: "Will he be going anywhere? Absolutely no chance. And I think Chungy realises that as well."
