Everton strikers Louis Saha and Victor Anichebe could be set for a timely return for the vital clash with Chelsea at Goodison Park on Monday.

The Toffees have a forward shortage at present with Yakubu and James Vaughan out for lengthy spells as well as Saha and Anichebe missing recent games but it could turn for David Moyes as the latter duo are close to full fitness.

"They'll (Anichebe and Saha) face fitness tests on Saturday or Sunday and we're quite hopeful they'll both be fit and available for selection," Everton assistant boss Steve Round told the club's official website.

"If not we've got Tim Cahill, Marouane Fellaini and young Lukas Jutkiewicz, so we're not concerned too much. But, of course, we'd really like it if they were available."
