Everton striker Tosun: Silva management suits me

Everton striker Cenk Tosun is enjoying his football under new manager Marco Silva.

The pair have already established a close rapport.

He told the Daily Mail: "It is nice to work with a manager who is a young coach.

"He wants to win titles; he wants to win cups. He is so ambitious. He likes to work and it feels very nice to work with him. Every day, he is teaching new things. He stops me on the pitch; he calls me to his office.

"It is important to have this trust already. He wants me to work hard, to hold the ball between the lines, open up the spaces for Theo (Walcott), Gylfi (Sigurdsson) and Richarlison. He always stands at the tactics board, showing me with the markers where to move.

"The style is not like it was under Sam Allardyce. It was more defensive then counterattack - wait and then try to win the game. This season it is like a 180-degree turn. We play more offensively, with more confidence. We build up more from the back. I think we have done well."
