Louis Saha was delighted with his goals in Everton's victory over West Ham on Saturday.

"It's always nice, especially at home to score goals," Saha told evertonTV. "It's really nice when you score goals and win games.

"I wanted to play some minutes so I could focus on my fitness. I think I'm getting there and, obviously, step-by-step you want to improve your game."

Saha also paid tribute to Stephen Pienaar for creating one of his strikes.

"When you've got a player with his ability you know that he can do magic stuff," said Saha. "I just concentrated on being in the right spot and it was an easy tap in for me. Amazing players can do stuff like that."
