Everton striker Jo says his experience in Brazil has him primed for a big derby performance against Liverpool.

The on-loan Manchester City forward is desperate to see action today.

"Palmeiras versus Corinthians was the big game for me in Brazil," he told evertonfc.com.

"I'm not saying that this isn't a massive game, I've emphasised that already but over there is probably even more tension and more surrounding the whole occasion.

"From that point of view I believe it has prepared me well for this game.

"I've got good experience from those matches that can help me with the intensity of the Merseyside derby.

"Wherever you go in the world, if you've got two or more teams in a city there's always going to be a good rivalry."
