Everton and Stoke City are chasing Real Zaragoza striker Diego Milito.
The Argentina international is available on a 12-month loan after Zaragoza's relegation last season and his agents have been sounding out interested Premiership clubs.
Everton are believed to be favourites ahead of Stoke for Milito.
