Everton fullback Bryan Oviedo is delighted Costa Rica have drawn England in their World Cup group.
The banter had already started flying after the World Cup draw paired his Costa Rican side in the same group as Phil Jagielka, Leighton Baines, Ross Barkley and Leon Osman's England.
"I am very happy to play against England," he told the Liverpool Echo. "It's a country I appreciate a lot. I am happy here but I think it's a difficult group for everyone. We need to work hard for the next six months to be ready for it.
"I spoke with Phil yesterday and we joked about it.
"But it's good, It's very nice to play against friends, but at the best competition in the world I need to work for myself!"
