Everton midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye hailed his Senegal teammates - Liverpool winger Sadio Mane and Lazio winger Balde Keita - for their contribution in the 2-0 win over Zimbabwe in the Africa Cup of Nations group stage on Thursday.
However, Gueye was not impressed with the defensive contributions of both players.
The Toffees star's Merseyside rival Mane scored the opening goal as the Lions of Teranga booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the African showpiece.
"We know how good they are," said Gueye after the win. "But sometimes it's difficult because they don't defend.
"If they score and we win the game, it's not a problem, but if we lose, we will kill them."
Mane scored in the 9th minute of the game and Henri Saivet added another four minutes later to see Senegal remain top of Group B.
