Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill has delivered good news regarding the fitness of Seamus Coleman for the crucial clash against Georgia.
Everton right-back Coleman sat out Ireland's recent 4-0 victory over Gibraltar due to a hamstring injury but as a boost, O'Neill has revealed that the defender should be fit in time for the all-important clash against Georgia on Monday night.
O'Neill said: "Seamus has done a little bit there today. He's feeling much, much better and I think, at this moment, it looks as if he's going to be okay."
The Irish side currently sit third in the Group D table with 12 points, one ahead of fourth-placed Scotland, and two behind Poland in second.
