Tim Cahill will be fit for Everton's derby date with Liverpool.

The Everton ace was crocked in a clash with Manchester City's Vincent Kompany last week.

But initial fears of a serious problem were allayed when scans revealed a bruised shin and he should start against Liverpool.

Everton centre-back Sylvain Distin, in the last season of his contract, is after a two-year deal.

So far Distin, 33, has been offered 12 months.
