Everton coaching staff are excited about working with new signing Stephen Pienaar.

Speaking with evertonTV, Blues No2 Alan Irvine said of the South Africa international: "He is an Ajax player and that is a big compliment from me.

"Steven is a very good footballer - lively and aware. He is very good technically. The fans will enjoy watching him play and he is certainly somebody I am looking forward to having round here and working with."
