Everton splash out big to land Rangers striker Jelavic

Everton are set to sign Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic today for £6 million.

The Scottish Sun says Rangers accepted a £6million offer for their 17-goal hitman and Jelavic was given permission to open contract talks with the Goodison club.

He's expected to seal his move today leaving Ally McCoist just hours to find a replacement.

But the Ibrox boss could be told he is NOT getting any cash to spend before the transfer window slams shut at 11pm tonight.
